Earth Day is on April 22nd, why are you holding this event
on the 21st?
Two reasons, the restaurant is normally closed on on
Monday, so we're not disrupting our customers. We wouldn't
want them to turn up for dinner and find that we had a
couple of hundred people have turned up to crowd out their
table. Secondly, Earth Day is about thinking what you can
do to make a difference. We want to give people some "food
for thought" for Earth Day.
Why is Sovana doing this?
Because it's the right thing to do! We all have to become
more efficient in the way we do things. The 21st Century is
going to be different ... we don't know how ... and we want
to do everything we can to make sure that we continue to
improve what we do and how we do it.
Who is Verrico Associates and why are you working
with them?
They're an organization that has grown by helping others. A
professional management consultancy group that has
experience in designing and building management systems
that work for a variety of different industries. They've
established themselves in the manufacturing industry and
are now expanding into conventional and alternative energy
industry, utilities, transportation and the hospitality
industry. Above all they have a great way of working, are
enthusiastic about value creation and anxious to deliver.
How much does it cost?
We know you’re going to give us your time! Thank you. We
will be providing light hors d’oeuvres and drinks for you.
If you feel that you’ve enjoyed yourself and learned
something, we would ask you to make a donation when you
leave. The donation will be used to cover costs and the
excess will be used to start prize fund for local schools
who are developing "Eco-Projects" and "Eco-Competitions"
for their student.
